Takoda Aviary Information
Takoda Aviary is a private closed aviary located in Central Ohio. Currently, we breed cockatiels (our specialty!), fischers lovebirds, and maximillian pionus.
We are a member of the
North American Cockatiel Society.
Clutch Information
All birds are on a first come, first served basis. We do take reservations. When the current clutch is two weeks old, you may
put a non-refundable deposit down (towards the cost of the bird, cost depends on species). First deposit gets first pick of bird. You may pay the deposit
via Paypal if you wish.
Why Takoda?
Since we are a small hobby breeder with a few clutches a year, we have the time needed to attend to each
and every bird. We never have more clutches than we can handle at one time; we feel if we had any more we wouldn't be able to give each bird
the attention it deserves. We can handle each one individually and get a feel for each personality. We care for each bird we sell, so we do our best to make sure they go into warm, loving homes. Each bird is a loved pet. I also have a Bachelors of Science in Zoology from Ohio State University. We have the knowledge to make sure you get the best quality bird!
